Has anyone used a bamboo compost bin? I'm thinking it would be a good idea, but I thought that about the envirocycle compost tumbler.

Good Idea brigidlily! It would not last that long but I bet you could get 4 or 5 years out of it. I like the idea.
Yeah -- you can compost it when it's served its purpose! A plastic one would just eventually become landfill, which defeats one of the purposes of composting. Plus, I have a fairly small backyard (38'x75') and it would look a lot nicer than the pallets I have wired together. I HAVE to have it contained.
