My mini pincher Chile Boucher got a life threatening uterine infection, pyrametria, 2 mo ago and had em. surgery to remove her ovaries and uterus. She seemed to get better for 1 mo. but started to get crusty bumps all over her and lose her hair Saturday she was shaking and had a fever. I rushed her back to the E.R. he said she has a staph infection because her immune system is not functioning well. He gave her a steroid shot and 2 weeks of antibiotics and tolds me thats all he can do, he has no idea what the cause is.
The surgeon told me he was positive it was not pyrametria again, but her stomach looks big again, she has gained 2 1/2 pds. in 1 mo without overeating. I'm so worried I dont know what to do. Does anyone know anything about pyrametria or staph? Any natural things I might use to make her feel better? I dont know where to take her next or what to do.
