I found out the reason this thing is called a stink bug. If you ever squash one of them, it stinks!!!

Something similar to this has been ruining my tomatoes in the summer. When I grew potatoes it was terrible so when next year I didn't grow potatoes it was not so bad but they still poked little holes in the tomatoes and sucked out juices on some. Using DE has helped.
