Hi. Sorry if this was located elsewhere but a search did not pull up names. I have only been able to find wholesale growers or mail order growers in San Diego area. I am looking for someone that sells to the public and has the not so common as I can get the usual at my local nurseries. The other thing I am looking for is one that has these pants on 15 gallon size as I have a 75 foot long fence I want to start to screen.
Any help would be great appreciated. Thanks.
Retail Grower in San Digo Area
Hopefully someone from your area will know of a place but if not...If you know which cultivars you would like you may be able to get a local nursery to special order something for you (it may help them if you know a wholesale grower who has the cv you're interested in). Not sure about the 15 gal size though, I don't think I've ever seen even the common hibiscuses offered in anything larger than 5 gal pot at the nurseries I go to. Especially if you want less common varieties, you may have to take what you can get on pot size.
You may also want to post this on the CA forum...I know there are several regulars over there who live in the SD area, and even if they aren't into hibiscus they may know of a nursery where they've seen lots of them.

Lucky you, wish I lived in Vista. I luv it there....so many nurseries shop till ya drop.
Thanks Eclipse. These guys are one of the wholesale only or mail order only I was referring too. And yes, shop till you drop is right. My wife has come to hate Saturdays. ;)
ecrane3, I agree. But it does not hurt to ask. I have seen a few 15 gallon size in some locations. But they are common varieties.
I think Hidden Valley may have open houses for the public from time to time...I remember someone posting a few weeks or maybe a month ago about an open house at some hibiscus place in SoCal, I think it might have been them (either that or there's another place down around you somewhere and I just don't remember the name!)
