sorry pam, don't think we can sneak anything back on the plane this time.
sniff, sniff, sniff :'( *siiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiigh* ;)
Have a wonderful trip you two!!!!! Ü AND take TONS of PICS please!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Not even room for an English Cadbury chocolate bar??????? :0
Your fault Lynn..................you put the thought into my head. ;)
How wonderful and exciting for you both. Takes lots of pictures and be prepared to tell us lots of stories, so we can experience it vicariously through you!
Hey if I arrange a prairie roundup in June you will be able to tell us all about Chelsea - featured speaker status!
I can't help it, I'm so jealous! Bet you'll have a blast! Are you going via Donna Dawson and the I Can Garden website?
Sandy
This is exciting especially since we have a ton of snow now!
Pam I'm not sure a chocolate anything would make the trip home with out being eaten and I think Lynn was talking "big spiky plants that stick out of your luggage"
Sandy , what is Donna Dawson and I can garden? Is this something we should check out? We will be in London first and then are traveling to Lowestoft where my Auntie lives so any suggestions are welcome.
An Alberta round up sounds like fun Fancyvan!
We both have cameras and I just purchased a flash drive that I will be taking so I can empty my memory cards and I know Lynn has some great equipment for photo's .
An Alberta round up sounds good from this end, hopefully not on the 16th though, that's me mum's BD.
Linda
But Ann I was so looking forward to seeing some of those (unknown here) beauties that the English plant catalogs feature growing in your gardens (and yes I do know that the rules re bringing plants here from England are rigidly enforced). Actually seeds were my first thought but then, knowing Lynn's English heritage, thought chocolates might be a greater temptation (they are what my Brit co-workers stuff their luggage with ;).
Ann, you must know Donna Dawson, she's from St. Albert and started that website 'I Can Garden'. They take a tour to Chelsea every year: http://www.icangarden.com/
Since you are both from Edmonton, I thought maybe you were going on her tour next year.

Sandy
Hi
I talked to Lynn and she has heard of her but not me.
As for the tour we figured on braving it by ourselves. My Aunt is a travel agent and has sent us some gardens that would be available for viewing. Plus we are gonna squeeze in some Harrod's along with DT London's other famous spots.
I have a cousin coming over in November and I've asked her to bring the underground schedule along with a train schedule. That way we have lots of time to figure out what to do.
We will keep you posted.
Ann
