Maxiwell are decorative selfwatering pots.
I meant to write "Watermaids" instead of minwells. "Watermaids"are saucers w/ an inner part(looks like a smaller saucer upside down)w/a slot that the tab from the capulary(sp?) mat feeds down thru and wicks water up to pot....well,that was clear as mud.
I've emailed my Optimara rep about the minwells which I use to buy long ago but don't see them on the info she sent on currant list of plant care items.

I think Watermaids are great. I have several of them and have been very pleased with their performance. Just my two cents worth. LOL
