Leaf footed Bug (Leptoglossus phyllopus)
While I haven't ever seen adult bugs that look like these, I have seen clusters of red/black small ones about the size of a medium ant, that look like the baby one on the far left.
There is an assassin bug that looks almost the same. I have heard that a lot of them usually means leaf footed bugs. Look very carefully and see if the snout is stuck into the leaf. There are many better people than me to help on that one.
All those little white spots on the pod are where the substance was sucked from the pod.
