moretz i would be happy to trade with ya.

Connie yes they are gorgeous arent they. But that yellow MG would just stand out all by itself wouldnt it. I gotta go find me some. Thing is I have already made the plans and diagrams for next years Fence Garden of MG's. Oh well will just have to change it. I have already collected 36 different named MG's and about 10 unnamed to try. Ofcourse they will be open pollinated so they wont be true for me again. I will have to trade every year.

I just followed the link above. Does this mean that these MG are hardy to zone 4a or are they still an annual but grow every where. I am still trying to find out about those that might servive my zone as a perinnial per say.

Beck

La Salle, MI(Zone 5b)

I got my morning glories from my cousin, and hers come back every year, she never plants seed for them.. and there suppose to be a annual...

Connie

Decatur, IL(Zone 5b)

One of these days I will figure out those that will come back every year. Right now that might be possible due to the mild winters that we have been having but 1 year it is gonna be just awful and that I CAN wait for....LOL

Beck

Greenville, IN(Zone 6a)

Connie, do they reseed or do they actually come back? Mine reseed, the only one that hasn't was the chocolate silk, of course from what I've seen here I haven't grown them all lol

La Salle, MI(Zone 5b)

Emma you have d-mail :o)

Lea, I would say they reseed for her. She only collected seeds from it for me, cause I wasn't sure if I was going to get any from mine, but finally I did get some from mine :o) and I have lots of them too.

Connie

Greenville, IN(Zone 6a)

Beck, I have a few heavenly blue if you want some, the cold got most of mine but I planted some on the latice to my garage and some were inside of the garage, if you want some dmail me :-) I have a feeling a few people didn't get any seeds this year, out my way.

Thanks Emma, these are beautiful and the foliage really looks nice too, I like foliage! I had the cameo elegants with it's variegated foliage and the cold got them, they were from a reseed so I'm sure they will be back but wanted to share them again this year. I grow a lot of mine that don’t get too tall in a concrete block with a tall galvanized pole and chicken wire, they always cover the chicken wire lol These are spread out thru my yard. I don't have any fence except for the latice on my garage.

So I take it these have a lot of foliage like the moon flower? I'll need a
bigger spot if I happen to get any of these seed, hint, hint Emma ~ you have dmail :-)
Lea

Decatur, IL(Zone 5b)

LeBug thanks but I did happen to aquire Heavenly Blue and I also bought some at store that the had on clearance. Mine where so beautiful this year I loved them. And I agree lots of people lost theirs this year.

Thanks

Hi everyone,
I'm not ignoring anyone, give me a couple of days to reply to your D-Mails.
I have TONS of eBay shipping to do this weekend.

Thanks,
Emma

Brooksville, ME(Zone 5a)

Thanks everyone for those who responded. I have sent d-mail and hopefull I can get a sample of both kinds. My mother in law loves yellow and I thought I would put some of her favorite color seeds in a clear glass ornament with a picture of the flower tied to the hook

Brooksville, ME(Zone 5a)

mama I didn't know of the other variety. I think both would be nice

Brooksville, ME(Zone 5a)

I am so excited to get a few extra trades of the yellow trumpet morning glory. It will look better in the christmas bulb when its hanging on the tree. Thanks again. I got the trades ready to go in the mail tomorrow.
