How long did it take to germinate?
I started some the other day and wonder how long to wait.

@mike_freck

maybe 4 or 5 days.

I have a special :

my growing:
first, you need orange juice (old with mould) put the seeds for 2 or 3 Days in.
then put the seeds in warm water in a thermo bottle for 2 days.
then is ready to grow.

Hey cheers loads for that. I started mine by leaving for 2 days in warm water on top of the boiler so they kept warm.
My Lady Margarets seem to be growing but all the rest have no action so far.

did you start those lady margret from seeds Mike ?

Lincoln, United Kingdom(Zone 8b)

Hiya Phicks,
Yeah from seed. I'm told they dont grew true but i don't mind. Its more for the practice of growing passies from seed. I got 1 Edulis growing earlier this year. So really pleased about that one. I got hooked on passion flower when i managed to grow some from seed by accident. lol

I started these the other week.

Passiflora alata ruby glow
Passiflora capsularis
Passiflora edulis
Passiflora foetida
Passiflora lady margaret
Passiflora quadrangularis

Wow that is quite a few you have started. Did you soak all of the seeds as mentioned above?

Lakeland, FL(Zone 9b)

Passiflora foetida this one grows really easy from seeds i got a pod from marieortiz i put about 20 in a pot 3 weeks later they all came up

Lincoln, United Kingdom(Zone 8b)

Hiya I read the label wrong the ones that are coming up are the ruby glow!

I started all of them the same way by soaking them overnight. All are from swaps so no idea if they are old or been stored badly. I had them stored in the fridge untill now.

I still have my fingers crossed so we will see!

Mike
