Time to pay it forward...Seeds for SASE

Northwest, OH(Zone 5b)

Last year, I put out a plea for help with starting my new garden. I received many seeds from lisamr, blckwolf256, JoleneS, breeze03, Legit, nanw, toni5736, Sequee, seedsower, JamesCO, mcgina, and some hydrangea starts from pixydish. I used some for wintersowing and some I saved for spring sowing. For the most part, I had great success!

Now it's time to pay it forward. I have a few seeds that I'll send to anyone that wants or needs these. I'd prefer to help out beginning gardeners, but will send them to anyone who requests them. I'll keep this updated as to what is still left. Most are from my own garden this year, but some are from my mom's garden from 2005, or some I had left from those that people shared with me.

UPDATED * UPDATED * UPDATED as of Nov. 28th

Gaillardia
Black-eyed Susan
Trumpet Vine: 'Flava'
Marigolds: Short, Tall
Cypress Vine: mix of red and pink

Just D-mail me with your wants and I'll respond as soon as I can.

Thank you once again, to those that helped me out last year! :-)

Kylee

Good Morning Kylee,
I planted my first garden here in FL this year. I must say you did awfully good with all those different flowers. I have some mini zinnias you might like to have. They're pink, white and pink and white stripe. I'd love either Trumpet Vine, Coneflower, Rose of Sharon, Snow on the Mountain (which I've never heard of) or Zinnia. Whatever you have would be greatly appreciated.
Gail
I don't have your address. As soon as I get it, I'll send you some mini zinnias and a SASE. Hopefully next year I'll be able to pay it forward too.

I think I've responded to everyone so far... If you haven't heard from me, please just D-mail me! :-)

To those of you that are getting Snow On The Mountain, PLEASE NOTE:

When wounded, this plant exudes a milky fluid that is poisonous, causing an inflammation of the skin that may cause blistering and burning and be similar to that seen with poison ivy.

That said, I touched the plant many times this summer, including when I harvested the seed, and didn't experience any problems. I was careful to wash my hands after handling it however.

Hello, my friend! Happy to see you had such good success this year!!! Hard to believe we are well on our way to winter, isn't it? Especially with ths little burst of Spring we are experiencing!!!

I would love to try a few seeds each of: Canteloupe: 'Charentais' (enough for 2 hills if you have them) and
Coneflowers: White Swan. And if you just happen to find a few extra seeds of the Oriental Lily: 'Muscadet' 3 seeds would be terrific. If you are all out - don't fret, I know how THAT goes!!!

I'd really like 5-6 castor bean seeds. Someone gave me some seeds she proclaimed to be castor beans last year (Not on DG) and they turned out to be Scarlet Runners. I have many many cleome, white and purple separated; Euphorbia, summer icicle; Hollyhock, deep burgundy single with fringed edges; Malva, purple/white.
Will send for sasbe anyone. If you have any extra seeds - surprise me with a few. I also saved seeds from my purple majesty millet....don't know if it will germinate or if it will be true to the parent plant. Anyone who wants to experiment, will send for sasbe. I'm in the address exchange. But you should probably d-mail first to make sure I have seeds still available.

Kylee,

Many apologies for not emailing you sooner to thank you for the seeds you sent. I didn't have a computer for over three weeks, then I got it back and had to pack it up. We moved the weekend before Christmas and my life has been kinda upside- down for awhile. Thank you so much for sending them.

Happy New Year,
Judy
