Tasmanian Snowberry Wintergreen, Blueberries, Trilliums

Cincinnati, OH

It looks like I will have to buy an excess to get the wholesale price for 100. Interested in trading the surplus. Some of the Trilliums it looks like I wont be getting close enough to order. I just have to have the Gaultheria hispida (Snowberry). These are a hardy form Zone 7b or in containers.

Larry, is that a link to the supplier for this co-op, or is it just a link with photo/info about the Snowberry?

You've got me looking for more info about growing trilliums now! :-)

Cincinnati, OH

The link is just for photo and description. Shipping from Tasmania would probably be a bit pricey.

LOL, yep I guess it would at that. I missed that bit of info!

Do you have a link for the wholesaler you're using for this co-op?

Hi Larry,
I am definatly interested in the snowberry. Let me know how many and how much and if you have a source for interesting Tasmanian stuff, I would be very willing to go in with you on quantity.
Rebecca
I am interested in your rhodys as well.

Larry-- might be interested but would like to know the source and if anyone has experience with them.

I could pick up my order.

I am working with lists in no particular order without pictures or desciptions. I guess the prices are too cheap for the company to hire a nerd.

Science update:
The Tasmanian Mountain Snowberry had been placed in Gaultheria (one of the Wintergreen genera). Other scientists cried foul. The flowers and fruit are Vaccinium (Blueberry, Lingonberry and some Cranberries). It should get a new name. It could be an ancestor or a hybrid of both.

It'spartly the cheap prices that have me wanting to know the vendor you're using, to see if anyone has had experience ordering form them.

Interesting note about the Snowberry's classification!

I have purchased from Tenessee twice before. They are wholesale only so I don't think any DGers have purchased from them. I have cancelled some items for lack of interest. I will be getting 100 Snowberries 'irregardless', of the existance of such a word, or additional interest. There should be many for trade.

Larry,

I am wondering if this is your Tennessee source: "Tennessee Nursery Company"?

Thanks. t.

Or is it this one http://www.tennesseewholesalenursery.com/?

Either way, if the Tennessee Wholesale Nursery in GW is the one you've dealt with in the past, you might want to add a positive rating for them since you were pleased with your two previous orders... http://davesgarden.com/gwd/c/2281/

My brain is tired. Both web sites are the same business.
