I have a Plumeria which was very happy spending the summer months in Maine sunshine. However, as expected, as soon as I brought it inside it began to drop its leaves in preparation for winter rest.
My concern is that one of the three branches is has developed a small cluster of young flower buds on a stalk about an inch long. At the moment the plant is in a sunroom which now averages 60 degrees at night and up to 80 degrees on sunny days. Is there any hope of seeing this bud mature and flower, or should I put it to rest in the cool cellar and hope it will re-bloom next season?
Thanks for any info you might have to share!
Don
