CLOSED: Anyone want to go in on Spring Hill's "one cent" sale?

Milton, MA(Zone 6a)

Hi all...
Spring Hill is (always) having this sale, and I'm always tempted, but you usually end up with 6 of each plant, and that's too many for me. Here is the link to the sale items.

I'll agree to whatever terms you think are reasonable. I bought a lilac from them two years ago which was doing very well until my DH mowed it down. (He moved the marker so he could mow around it and he doesn't see too well these days. Anyway I could use one of the Anchusa Azurea, lupines, clara curtis daisy, ivory peach-leafed bellflower, kniphopia, and cornflower (pink). If you could use 1 - 5 of these, PLMK.

I'd love 2 or 3 of the Anchusa Azurea... but I have no good ideas as to what terms. Were you planning to purchase, and I'd reimburse you for plants and extra shipping, etc?

Thanks :)

What does it mean one cent sale?

Hollywood, FL(Zone 10b)

Their "one cent sale" means they charge just one penny more to double the amount- say they charge $9.99 for 3 daisy plants, they will charge just $10.00 for 6 of those plants (for example).

Oh, I see...I was going to ask the same question...very interesting...

too bad they have such a terrible rep. I am awfully interested in the Primrose lilac.

Ohh... Gardenwatchdog rating a little too sketchy for me... http://davesgarden.com/gwd/c/188/

Too bad. I myself am repelled by their GW rating! The lilac I bought before, as I said above, might even have bloomed this year if my husband hadn't mown it down. Oh well. I'm gonna mark this closed.
