this double just takes my breath away. From the very first bloom it has given me such joy. I just love the form. It has such an attitude. I love a brug with flair.
I know I am prejudice, but ..............
Yeah! Now THAT's what I'm talkin about!! What a beauty Kell.. Congratulations!
Super bloom, so much fluff!
It looks like a hint of pink but what is the final color? Lovely shape!
Now that is a super shaped brug. Makes no difference what color it ends up.
Beautiful bloom, Kell.
Lovely shape whatever the color. Definately worth keeping. Is this your own cross?
There you go again another gorgeous one! How do you do it????
Not matter what the color of this one you should call it Fancy Pants:)
It really is so lovely.
Bea
You make me drool!!! LOL!!! I wanted to buy those that you had posted and I am glad Brugie emailed me privately that I can not buy those. I am in negotiation with a seller for nice varieties and I can not wait to see them bloom next summer. You do a good job!!! Bellie
Beautiful Kell.....
Elva
LOL, Bellie. Maybe you can negotiate to buy from Kell. What I meant when I wrote you is that there just hasn't been a plant in the past that has maintained the mutant blooms through to another bloom cycle. I would like to see it happen but would hate to buy something without knowing it will continue to set the same kind of blooms every time.
That is gorgeous Kell !!
Oh My goodness KELL!!! you certainly have the midas touch! LOVE the blush on the skirt!!
We all know Kell does not sell her brugs !

I just love the shape of this one.
Extraordinary :)) I like her a bunch, too. Very classy look ! Kell, you have the "magic" touch!! God bless, Margo
Really pretty Kell! Great pictures too.
Betty
Such a frilly lady. I love the her shape.
I keep coming back to look at this one. It is a gorgeous Dbl. yellow, and we know there aren't many of those around.
WOW!!
Thanks so much everyone! I so appreciate all of you. I just received some great and so different pollen from far far away (THANK YOU TONNY!!) that I will be using on this one. It is still setting pods it seems.
Oh Bellie, I know just how you feel. I can remember clearly way back when I first came to Dave's and I would see pictures of them and I couldn't breath I wanted them so much. As I recall Butterfly sent me into a tailspin of desire. Then one day I realized they were just plants and I felt so much better being released from their spell. Now I look at them and think that is great but I do not have that intense desire. Though yesterday morning I was going nuts with desire. I saw an Amorphophallus Paeonifolius on the Tropical Forum and I just had it have it. I couldn't find it on Brian's website for sale and I was in acute despair thinking they were all sold. I was emailing a good friend hysterically over them. LOL. I so need a life. To make a long story short, I do understand how you feel. If my double pods ripen, I would be happy to share some seeds if you want to try to grow them.
I assume Shirley was emailing you privately about my Fluffles. Elva is so right, I have never sold a brug in my life. I just suck at packaging them up. It can take me hours for some reason. I would be in business about 2 minutes. Though I do try to share with people who share a lot themselves so the brugs get out there.
Here is Brians' Amorphophallus Paeonifolius and his picture too! What would a pepto garden be without one of these???
Kell.... What a neat flower! So unusual.. Is this one of those that smell so pretty:) I always stop and look at them when I am surfing but I just don't know how far away I would have to stand to see it in the yard :))) If I ever find one in that family I will surley buy it, if I can find one that smells nice. What is this one supposed to be like?
Bea
Amorphophallus Paeonifolius - Holy mackerel! It looks like it belongs in a Sci Fi movie. Like it's some alien brain that's going to take over the world through mind power. I like it!
If it were blue it could be a Smurf house.
Very intresting!
Oh Bea, I figure I can stand the smell for 1 day. After that the smell improves. But I love it too when it isn't in bloom. A friend sent me a huge bulb of one variety this last spring and it grow great all summer. So different looking. The trunk was pinkish with weird markings. I really enjoyed it.
Mary, it always is fun to grow something a bit different. Some of the flowers on these are just so cool. I do not know what happened to Brian's thread on the tropical Forum, I can't find it now. Too bad, I wanted to reread how people overwinter it.
LOL Caren, I am still laughing.

Kell,
I looked for Brian's thread, too, and can't find it. I did find a short thread on the Aroids forum. I ordered two of the APs - just sent Brian a dmail after I couldn't find them on the website, and he mailed back pretty quickly.
Sharon
Yes, that is what I did after I saw his ad on here. I emailed him. I am so excited. I can't wait till I get them. I just hope I do not kill them over winter. I have 4 kinds now. And it is all Ada's fault. LOL A new love is born.
Kell
Had to come back and look at your beautiful brugs. You would change to your name to brug Queen .lol ... Keep up the great work . I wonder how many of us are green with envy ?? I wish you well and admire your beautiful brugs.
