I found this different silver splotched hoya cv. minibelle and I just love the leaves on it.

Unusual cv. Minibelle
Yowsa, Awanda!!! Looks like it was crossed with the lovely pubicalyx 'Splash'. Where in the world did you get it ('cuz I WANT one!!) Lucky you!

Nice, Sistah A!
Where abouts do you keep this one, inside or in the greenhouse ;) Really nice.
T you know I'm not telling where I keep this one:-). I found it at a Mom/Pop nursery that was going out of business; it was in very poor shape when I brought it home but after my loving care it bounced back!!
Blessings,
Awanda
Has it bloomed for you, Awanda? What are the flowers like?
Very cool, Awanda!!! That silverspotting is really lovely!
Ann
wow that one is just too pretty.
Bea
That is strange. Looks like a cross between 'Minibell' and pubicalyx 'Splash'. Are you sure it is a 'Minibell', Awanda?
Marcy
No flowas yet, I had to first nurse it back to health. Marcy it would still be partly cv. Minibelle even if it was crossed with pubicalyx 'Splash'. It'll be interesting to see what the flowas look like.
Blessings,
Awanda
Awanda...I really hate to correct you...but there is no such thing as a 'partly' named hoya. It is either cv. Minibelle or it isn't. If it were crossed with anything else it would be a hybrid between the two. The only reason I bring this up is because there are new collectors on this forum who may get the wrong information. Right? So...thishoyas is either H. cv. Minibelle or it is an unknown hybrid. If you KNOW that one of the parents is H. cv. Minibelle, then it would be a H. cv. Minibelle X unknown (or visaversa). Right?
Carol
Susan you are right, that's exactly what I was trying to say. It must be that we were both born in July and our minds think alike...scary:-).
Blessings,
Awanda
Great save, Awanda! It's a cutie!!
