Thanks. Yes, it was. I have a few variations of this one. One, Solanum wendlandii has much bigger flowers.

Do you think S. crispum would be suitable to grow in a hot climate?...I have mostly seen pics of it growing in the u.k
I have the S. wendlandii and it too is beautiful.cheers

I am sorry but I have no clue. I am rather cool here, 80 only once in a great while. Maybe someone from where it is hotter will chime in.
