I was blessed today by receiving a couple of cuttings of variegated polyneura. A dear friend of mine sent them to me. Now to get them rooted.

edited to say, do you have to really keep track of that for normal growth, like you do the variegated carnosas?

I am really amazed and very curious... ahem...must be my old eyes and older brain...but it looks like a plain old H. polyneura to me.... where is the variegation?
Carol, Mark and I were thinking/wondering if it is silverspotting rather than variegation. Awanda, what do you think? Whatever it is it's just lovely!
Ann
Awanda that has a very pretty leaf, just love it.

Oooh I luv the markings on this one. I didn't realize it was a hoya. I had to look it up. Sure tease me again....now I'll be on the lookout for one....lol.

Ann/Mark - you may be correct. I always thought variegation dealt with pigments within the chlorophyll (spelling is off I cam sure)...guess this one is the silver streaking. Nice.
Well my polynuera has rooted and been potted up. I was surprised at how quickly it rooted, I used moss and kept it in a plant tray with a humidity dome over it.
Blessings,
Awanda
Super rare huh?! wish I had looked on here before killing myself with wonder about my plant;) I am going to give my plant a little trim, Anyone simply dying for this little guy send me a dmail, I am going to root some cuttings (probably 4 or 5) and would be happy to share for postage!

Awanda...is it just my eyes, too, or do the leaves of yours appear to be a bit larger than the 'average' polyneura?
It's a beauty, Awanda!
