This is very nice of you Caren. Congrats to the people getting the cuttings. Mtn. Magic is a really nice brug.
No, thank you!! That was such a wonderful, generous offer on your part. :)
Oh geez, I missed out again! :-(
Congrats to those who got one, though! That was really nice of you to do that, Caren!
Congrats to all of you who are recieving mountain magic.
It was here at Dave's that I won Mountain Magic so this was my first thought when I had a few extra cuttings.
Congrats to my winners I hope you enjoy her as much as I have!
Caren
Oh,,,, boo hoo hoo. I hate missing out.... Elaine
Sounds as if there's another Dave's brugie that's as nice and generous as you, Shirley. I got my Mountain Magic from you. I've yet to see it bloom, but I know it will be a beauty when it finally gets around to blooming.
OH rats, I missed it, I lost my MM to the storm this summer, maybe next time
What a beautiful bloom on that one! Like all the others I am kicking myself for missing it.
Have fun growing it. Does anyone know who created this one?
Bea
The hybridizer is T. McLeod, and the seedling parent is Bonnie Vaughn. It's gorgeous, isn't it?
Caren,
I just received my Mountain Magic cutting. I put it in water with a little hydrogen peroxide immediately. I have better success with rooting in water than potting in soil. Thank you so much.
Veronica
That is how it roots best for me. Your seedlings tenderals are peeking out now! Ill post a pic later today.
Caren
I received my healthy green cutting yesterday, put it in water, and this morning there are several white bumps which I am hoping will turn into roots. Caren, thanks so much a gift that I will always cherish.
Caren,
I just wanted you to know that that my Mountain Magic cutting rooted in water and is now in a quart container. It has put on about a foot of new growth. I have been keeping it in the house because my greenhouse is set too low for comfort. It appears very healthy and hasn't been attacked by spidermites or other pests. Thank you. I can hardly wait for it to start producing flowers.
Veronica
Thanks for the update Veronica! Im so glad she is doing good for you. Im pretty sure all these were above the Y so it shouldn't be too long ;o)
Caren
Congratulations you all. Caren your Mountain Magic's color is beautiful...
Very pretty.
Peggy
Caren, my cutting is also growing well in my basement and will soon need a bigger pot. I am excitied about this one and hope to have some pictures to show you this summer.
Louise
