Indian Summer, What do you think it is?

Is it warm summer like weather after a hard freeze?

Or

After a snow fall?

I have heard both.

around here people seem very liberal with the use of' indian summer' It will be interesting to see if there is a traditional, 'correct' use. I'd vote for'after frost'
