Up right Elephant ears, need info

I was looking into getting one of these.
But I'm not sure I was looking at the right one. The ones I've seen
were very tall and big, but when I look on a site I saw that it only grows 3'.

Can anyone tell me more about it?
are there more than one kind?

Ok I think I found the confusion. I was looking for "Alocasia odora" because thats what I found in plant files. But I think the name is "Alocasia Microrhizos"


which brings me to my next question. How reliable is PlantFiles?

Alocasias Odora and Macrorrhiza are both upright elephant ears...Odora being the larger of the two. There is also a dwarf Odora that gets only about 3 ft tall.

I had to look to see where Palm Bay, Florida was because I have pups of all of these I could give you. You're on the opposite coast from me though.

I didn't make the postage offer because I wasn't sure I had any that were shippable size. I checked this morning and I have 1 Odora and 3 Macros. I also have one of the dwarf Odoras. Wasn't sure exactly which one you were looking for, or if you want to try all of them. I will most definitely send them for postage. I also have a small pup of Xanthosoma Blue Giant I can send. There's a picture of it in the Aroid forum if you haven't seen it yet.
