I just released about 15 of them.

They weren't quite warm enough to fly off yet so I got a few pics.

Dear Konkreteblond,

Those photos are great. I wish I had the camera equipment and talent to produce pics like these. I actually only have a 2X Carl Zeiss optical zoom on my camera. But then again, it is only my first digital. I was taking a Senior Citizen course in Photography and I got envious of all the advanced cameras and equipment that many of the people have. My goal is to rejoin the class in Fall 2007 and have a 10x optical zoom with a higher megapixel rate also. Do they have such a camera?

Thanks for sharing those photos,

Chuck

Nice pictures Chuck!
So you got these from your Kodak DVD? It musta worked alright for you, cool!

KKB what an adorable pose! I love that!

I have a few GF cats that were laid on the PassionVine a couple weeks ago, some are over 2" & are about ready to pupate I think. I usually leave them alone, because there are so many and birds don't like the spikeys I think. They have the highest survival rate of all I have hosted here so far.

This is the smallest one I noticed, still another week to go for him.. (the lattice is 1")

Thanks Chuck, but believe me when I say this didn't take any talent on my part. My camera is a fairly inexpensive Kodak EasyShare, 4 mp, 4x optical zoom, with a macro lens. All I have to do is aim and make sure it's in focus before I push. I love the ease of the camera but feel like I'm cheating since the camera is doing all the work.

The megapixels are getting higher and the prices are going down so I'm sure you can find what you are looking for with some research. I compared different brands and features on www.epinions.com and used Consumer Reports. Just make sure you have the macro lens!

I liked this picture because it was on Halloween and they were dressed appropriately.

Hey Chuck, check out my latest find! http://davesgarden.com/forums/t/667330/
