SURPRISE

Greensburg, IN(Zone 6a)

I went down the basement to check on Golden Lady, she has hardly a leaf left but she greeted me with this bloom.

A happy sight to be sure! Though I am not sure that is Golden Lady, Doris.

Has it made your basement smell delightful?

Nice classic bloom, but I'm with Kell... I don't think that's Golden Lady. Here's a pic of my Golden Lady... she's washed out a little with the flash, but the color is a creamy off-white.

Still a delightful surprise!

Didn't look like my GL either. But I don't have Milk and Honey. That really is a nice bloom. I bet you were really happy.

I guess I was so surprised I got excited LOL. Golden Lady, and M & H gave me lots of blooms all summer, this is how M & H looked a couple of months ago

Oh for the good ole days of summer. Nice pictures, Doris.

Nice Surprise ! Wonderful Photo of the Day Thanks for sharing :))

Odd how greatly conditions can affect a flower. Your first and second pics of your M&H don't look like the same flower/plant. I usually see the biggest difference in flower size (besides color intensity). I've had a sport, though, that bloomed nothing (shape and color) like it's parent.

It's always nice to see flowers!

Great eye Carter!
