Dummy here with mole problem!
I've been reading that if you grow sedge in your yard, the moles will leave. I have co-existed with these critters in my yard for over 2 yrs now. Well, this yr, I guess I ran out of grubs & they have taken a taste for gingers, allium, & the rest of my bulbs.
Could this possibly be on of those sedges?
i have no idea but what i do to get rid of moles is put rat poison in the holes and that seems to keep them under bay,or i have heard to use human hair in the hole and that works but i have had more success with the poison.i havent heard about the sedges and you can plant your bulbs in pots i do that laso and that works well,i have a beagal noe so i cant put the rat poison out any more because he digs for the moles,but the pot method works very well for me as well i hope this will help you

They have so many tunnels that when you walk in my yard, anyone watching would think you are drunk & staggering! Really!
They have been fine until this yr & now they are eating everything!!!
I have been looking for some course steel wool. Someone said they put that around their bulbs & they will eat the roots rite up to the sw & stop.
I've tried the human hair. My beautician thought I was crazy & since it didn't work, I think I am, too! lol
