After having a garden full of pinks last year I thought I'd try my hand at doing a cross that would produce a different color.
This is the results of one of my crosses grown out by my friend Renee. Thanks Renee for a great job.
If it passes evaluation next year it will be permanently named Mountain Harvest.
A new orange
That's a beauty. So bright and cheerful, and fitting for this time of year to boot! Like the name too!
Oh what a beautiful flower! That is one gorgeous bloom, so congratulations on a magnificent cross.
Barb
I'm ready for some great orange brugs and yellows too. I'm looking forward to trialing this one for you both. I think she is a beaut.
Terry every picture of this beauty I see makes me want it more, I love orange. You and Renee did a great job on this one.

Terry, It is gorgeous. I also love the oranges, and hope to see this one released next year.
Thanks everyone. I'm really hoping this one keeps the deep orange color that it has shown so far.
Wow!! Very nice!!
How beautiful!!!!! Oh do tell about the fragrance.. I can almost smell it now.. I bet it's good..
Not many words would describe that beauty. They must look like a sunset of orange when all bloomed out. You must be very proud.
It's beautiful!! Also looks large. How Is the fragrance?

Great color .... a real show stopper!! Congrats Renee and Terry!! It's a beauty.
Wow! What an eye popper! Terry and Renee, you are really to be congratulated on creating a brug the color that everyone has been working for. Besides that "look at me" color, the shape is just gorgeous! It even has pretty leaves!
Way to GOOOOO you two!
Kay
Thanks so much for the compliments on this flower.
Renee got back to me on the scent. She says that it is quite strong at night and interestingly even in the daytime in full sun the scent is quite noticeable.
Can't wait for summer to get here so I can see and smell it in the garden. LOL

I'd like to thank Shirley too for she had a hand in this flower.
I had a great mother plant to work with and Shirley had a great pollen donor.
The combination of the two produced this flower.
very very pretty! Great fragrance to boot! definately a winner.
Bea
WOW!!!
What an awesome color and size!!
:) Donna
What is the cross? Not that that matters. All seedlings will be different.
Just wondering.
Congrats Terry and Renee!
Thanks again everyone!
Paul I think it best not to mention crosses until a Brug is fully evaluated.
That way it saves the hybridizers wasted time and energy if the cross shows any signs that it isn't worthy of making again.
It also saves the market from being flooded with lookalikes as there are already so many lookalikes now especially with the pinks that it is hard to tell them apart.
It's always best to use your imagination in making a cross and getting something completely unique to what's already out there.
It is a real winner!! It is a beauty with a great scent!!
That's what we want!!
Bonnie
You both did a beautiful job, she is gorgeous !! Congrats !!! God bless, Margo
Beautiful bloom.
Really Nice
Great color. It is so great to see more of this color coming to brugs. The color just pops against the green of the leaves. Congrats and excellent work.
Wonderful! (Big smile here. )
Terry, Renee and Shirley, I'm adding my congrats to you all, and continues good luck with the trialing process.
She is just awesome!!
