As i walk through the garden I realize that I really need to broaden my range of colors in the garden. Everything in bloom is pink. Now that the weather has cooled off a bit my blooming season is getting underway. In spite of some bad weather recently (lots of wind and rain) some buds have managed to stay on an bloom. Daydreams is blooming for me for the first time. She is just beginning to open up and show a hint of color. Here are some pics of the pinkies...

Gary all are beautiful!

Gary, your brugs look wonderful. I'm amazed at the intense color they have for the time of the year they are blooming. Congrats. It's always fun to see what you have blooming.
Beautiful blooms Gary. I have to agree with Shirley that they have wonderful color for this time of year.
All my pinks always turn a light pink this time of year.
Gary, it's been two years since I had multiple brugs flushing at the same time, but I still remember how it felt! I noticed that happening a lot here. The pinks would bloom together, the peaches, the golden ones, it was pretty cool! Every week or two, I would have a completely different garden to look at, and it made it really easy to compare flowers that were similar.
I forgot to say that they look beautiful! I am convinced that bloom color is influenced by the temps right when the flowers are opening. Vixen is blooming now, it was cold when the first flowers opened, and they were a very pale puny pink. It's been warm the last few days, and the flowers opening now are vibrant deep pink! They always smell wonderful, no matter what the color, Vixen is one of my favorite smells!
I do not have one single brug blooming right now, so I'm very envious of your beauties. I especially love the pinks.
I feel so lost without blooms now, so it is great to see anyone post pictures, I LOVE the dark pink.
You can never have too much PINK, Gary! LOL I love them all!
Gary, all of these look wonderful. I can't believe the depth of color on Painted Lady though!! A friend sent me a list of brugs to choose from and I am so glad that I chose that one. Hope I get to see it bloom next year while my temperatures are still warm.
Don't mean to get off the subject of pinks, but have you had any blooms on Autumn Treasure yet?
Beautiful, Gary! Pink....I've been wanting a pink for such a long time.
:) Donna
David Autumn Treasure treasure was accidentally decapitated during the summer when I wasn't here so she had to start again. She has now 'Y'd again and should bloom in a month or so I assume. I really want to see what shade of yellow/orange she will be.
Painted Lady is almost red right now. Even during the daylight hours she is the darkest of pinks. At dusk she is flaming red. When my mom was down and she saw painted lady blooming she said "that's gorgeous, but you can't call that pink!!!"

Might you ever consider sharing cuttings of 'Daydreams'? Maybe I'm growing something I could share back, I could send a little list of what I have to offer.
Amy.
