Thanks pell, I just love seeing our wild friends. It really makes my day if I get a peek at nature on my way to work.

One time this summer I spotted 2 wild turkeys running along the side of the road, about a mile ahead, there were two people on racing bikes. I could just hear the turkeys. "Come on Mable, we can catch up, run faster" LOL

Thanks guys! Its now been ID as a Sharp-shinned Hawk. I didn't realize how close some of these raptors looked.

Absolutely stunning!!! Wish I could share mine...but I didn't have the sense to put my big lens on my camera. The kids and I were at one of our parks just north of Woodbridge and spotted a Bald Eagle circling high above us....gorgeous bird!!!
