for trade: Bromeliad Bilbergia pyramidalis

Palm Bay, FL(Zone 9b)

CLOSED CLOSED CLOSED

I have tons of these. I had to dig them up because they were getting too much sun and I wanted to move them to the side of the house. I have a lot left over if anyone is intrested. I just hate to throw them away. Some of them look a little ruff because as I said they were getting too much sun, but they have babies quickly so you'll have a new healthy looking plant in no time.

The red flower on these in the late summer are to die for. Really really pretty.

Im looking for any kind of plant that will do well in my zone. I'd prefer easy to grow things for right now I have a lot of yard work to do and cant keep up with fussy plants. I'm just trying to full up a very bare sunny yard.

SORRY CLOSED

gaurdangirl, this is mike , and I've got 3 or 4 of these but they never bloom (two years now ) any tips . Thanks Mike

Palm Bay, FL(Zone 9b)

Hey mike,
do you have them indoors or out ?
what kind of soil?

All I can say is: well drained soil, filtered light, and dont water too much. you could water these once a week or even two weeks. Water the cup part of the plant and it should flower I have no problems with mine and I had about 50 plants.

Do you have a picture of it?
