This is a good link to get to know some of the most common terms describing african violet flower and leaf types.

Thanks, Snowrose, that's a great link!! Maybe Begoniacrazii will add it to our sticky when she has a chance....

I appreciate the additional info about the traits too... I didn't know clackamus foliage was genetically dominant! Now I *really* want my 'Winnie the Pooh' to bloom so I can try hybridizing it with something -- anything! -- else. I love those leaves!

Critter - I have read and printed out a great article by Dr. Jeff Smith on what traits are dominant/recessive. I will try to find it again and post. I agree wholeheartedly it would be neat to try and cross your Winnie the Pooh. I really like the clackamus foliage as well. Best of luck!

Morning Snowrose!

Great sites...TFS!

Well we have winter here as of yesterday! Snow, cold, no sunshine! Good time to curl up with a good book.

Good morning, Joanne. Uuuh....snow already??!! Good book...good plan. I am working on plants today for a while but will go out shortly. It is a bit warmer today and nice compared to the last few days of cold and wind. Tomorrow is supposed to be even better. I'll take it. Enjoy your day....

Snow
