I'd like advice on what to do with this corner between my driveway and side yard. The picture is taken from the sidewalk on the south, looking north. The driveway is on the east, and my patio is just beyond the fence on the north side. There are two large oak trees on the west side (one in the picture), and this area is pretty shady - the best sun is toward the sidewalk by the driveway, where I have a line of tired roses. The trash can is supposed to be in the garage, but the kids sometimes leave it out after trash day.
I'm planning on shredding some oak leaves and use them to define a new bed. After that, I'll have all winter to figure out what to do next.
