Soo Beautiful!!! One of my favorites, too. How old is the plant?

Thank you for all the ooo's and awwws...

Nan I got it April 28, 2006 and she transplanted it from a leaf into its home on February 1, 2006 so it isn't quite a year old yet.

I had heard that they can be stubborn to bloom.

It is just beautiful. Wish I had more luck with miniatures. I would surely try this one. I also love Rob's Scrumptious.

Hi Nan,

Well this one I have on the floor in my bedroom under lights until I get my third and final lightstand and with these new Floralight UltraGold lights...they do throw more heat so I hope I don't lose that variegation....I just love it.

I just got Rob's Scrumptious when I was in Calgary....two tiny little suckers...it is a fairly new one I believe.

Rob's Scrumptious (9466) 07/30/2005 (R. Robinson) Semidouble white star/dark pink patches. Crown variegated medium green and white, quilted. Semiminiature

Why don't you give them another go....maybe you will have better luck this time. I find though that I have to water every two days the mini's and semi-minis as I have them in a really lean mix.

I've never seen an a/v with those colored leaves. It's really beautiful. Thanks for sharing the pic with us.

More ooohs and aaahs from me, Joanne. I love highly variegated plants. I bet you like that one even when not in bloom.

Wow, what remarkable foliage -- and blooming also!!

Lee Anne, your comment reminded me of one of my favorites, 'Rob's Love Bite'...

Here's a photo of mine's first bloom (and only bloom so far; it's being stubborn):

Beautiful.
Am so jealous, my Rob's Cool Fruit was doing well, then went down hill. I quickly put some leaves down and left the mom plant to sink or swim. Well mom re leaved herself and is starting to come around so if the leaves I put down root I will have some to share.

Good morning everyone!

Critter that is a pretty plant you have there...don't have that one yet...LOL!

Thank you for all your kind words.

I am glad that you got some babies happening April! I have a few that are going to be going down the same lane....but one is Scuba Diver so I just plucked the centre leaves off and will wait for suckers.

Joanne
