She has finally open and now I am waiting for the second skirt to drop. If you look you can see the second skirt wadded up at the bottom

Thanks Sharon. I've been back out three times today to see if she might be dropping but it looks the same. Almost like when I was a kid at Christmas and knew I had a bb gun but had to wait for santa to drop it under the tree.

Jim, just hang in there tomorrow you can post an update picture!

I think we have all been there waiting and pacing the ground they grow in. Waiting for that bloom to open! Happy to see your enjoying some blooms late in the year.

Kin I just can't wait to see her open all the way. It is pouring rain here today and real windy. I did go out and check to see if she was cooperating a little better and it is almost completely opened but I can't get the camera wet to get a picture. Maybe between showers today.

Here's she is today. I have another double, Golden Lady, and her second skirt doesn't drop as much as Tiara.

she is lovely, my golden ladys skirt doesn't drop either, maybe she is too modest LOL
