Oh Doris that looks SOOOOOO cold. Winter is not my favorite time of year. You need to put some teeny little ice skates out for your birdies!! ;)

Doris,
Brrrr! I am not looking forward to cold weather at all. Glad you got all your plants in.

too funny, Barb!! LOL!
I had frost on my car this morning, but nothing like you, Doris. Yet another reason to make cuttings of my unknown pink -- so I can park in the garage!

LOL Barb ice skates for the birdies.
Sure looks cold there. We got down to about 30 the last two nights but no problem with anything.

That's cold, Doris but we had you beat for the past two mornings at 26.
We broke some temperature records.

Ada, when has it been this cold this early in NC. I have some pictures that I took last year in the middle of Nov. It has just been a bad year for brugs all the way around!!

Kannapolis, NC(Zone 7b)

It sure has been a weird year, Melanie. My poor yard looks pitiful with the frozen black leaves everywhere. I had a very colorful yard last week when it got so cold. I bought over a hundred yards of gingham checked material to go with another hundred yards I had purchased the year before( off Walmart's dollar table) and covered all the Brugs but the second night, the covers didn't help much. They were black on the top part

I am still in winter denial. We are not having bad weather yet.

Oh Doris, poor Whislers, trying to live!

LOL Ada, too funny. You didn't take a picture of your colorful yard for us? I can't believe I am posting to you after emailing with you for the last hour. LOL Now I am really going to bed. Goodnight!
