its the top one has a little brown thing growing,and if it is what do i do

I don't have your answer because I don't know...but just wanted to chime in to say I've had the same problem!! I almost cut off the first flower of my alsobia because I thought it was a seed pod...until Allison told me it was a bud~LOL!

I don't know about seed pods I don't think I've ever had any but if that's one I've had many on different Chirirtas and did not know.

it's the beginnings of a seed pod, but they sometimes abort after this stage. It'll be obvious - after it's done blooming, either the spike with dry up/flop over (abort), or it will stay upright (seeds).

if you do wind up with a seed pod, don't sow them all, you will have a gazillion plants. i did that not knowing, could'ent believe the amount of plants you get from it. lol

I think I had seed pods on one of my AV's is that normal...just wondering...not sure what to do with them..lol do they ripen on the plants too?
