Weiz Posaune

Lake Toxaway, NC(Zone 7a)

I cannot find this brug in the plantfiles and Google only gave me a picture but no info. I am always looking for a brug that will bloom in our coolere mountain climate before frost gets it. Is Weiz Posaune a good candidate? If not, what is the earliest bloomer from cuttings? I can start them earlier now that I have a small greenhouse......

Weisse Posaune = white trombone
Is a versicolor, which most are very sensitive to frost but this one listed as faily hardy
despite being a versi.

Sorry, short for Versicolor, the type of Brugmansia. Some are versicolor, others suaveolens, insignis, aurea, candida, sanguinea.
Versicolored are very tender where a suaveolens can handle a lot more.I had one survive in a pot, over wintered outdoors, came back from the roots.
A versicolor would not have, even heavily mulched in the ground.
You're welcome :)
