This fall a woman by the name of xxxxx yyyyy won two of my auctions on ebay. I waited and waited and waited for payment....nothing. In New Zealand I received an irrate email "How could you leave the country without shipping my plants!!!!". I replied that I had not received payment. Back and Forth we went. I scoured my PayPal records for payment received from xxxxxyyyyy - Nothing. We went back and forth for weeks.... then I received an email from the dispute office saying that 'none' had filed a complaint. 'none'? Hello?
Yes...'none' (I kid you not...that was the name) filed the complaint and the light bulb went off. Yes...there in paypal was 'none' having paid me. I notified the dispute center of this 'strangeness', sent her refund and told her I thought she was dishonest in not telling me (after my begging for dates of payments, names she used etc.) what she had done. This is a warning: if anyone receives anything to do with 'elorac6'...be careful. I will give you her full name if it is necessary.
I don't know if this is a proper place to put this or not....but I feel that I was set up in order to take my rating down from 100%. If anyone has had any similar happen to them...please let me know.....
Edited to say that when 'none' made the paypal payment...it was not cleared/authorized/whatever thru PayPal ....

Thanks for the warning Carol. Shaking head . Why would someone use "None " as a name for paypal? Crazy you ask me. Paypal should drop the complaint against you,and warn her about using such tactics. Carol can't you block her from bidding on your plants again?

Also, if you write to E-Bay they will remove any feedback left by "none" and change your rating back. I had that done to me and as you can see, they changed my rating back to 100% and removed her negatives.
It's a sad world out there ladies (and gents too), we aren't all gardeners ...... although we SHOULD all be and the world would be a better place *lol*

Ebay will not help. The woman in question will not negotiate - I even offered to send her the plants (no charge) and pay for the mediation process offered by PayPal. Personally I think she has some serious mental problems...dual personality.
Wait until the full moon then offer again Carol. LOL
