A sad little story behind this poor baby.
I purchased this from another DG member this summer.
When she arrived she looked SO BEATUIFUL!
But, silly me....thought she needed a bigger pot.
So I bought a huge pot and some soil and due to the fact that we were living in our back yard and not in a house during this summer I was unable to take the time with her that I normally would have.
Needless to say, I think the soil was WAAAAY too heavy and this plant has been showing signs of suffocation ever since.
Last weekend I took her out of her pot and changed the soil.
Most of the roots looked pretty sad but I planted 1/2 of them and cut the others roots off and am currently trying to re-root them.
The ones that I cut the roots off and stuck in water are already plumping up and looking like they will root.
So....she's not dead but she's in dire need of some TLC.
I would suggest that anyone that wants this to cut all the roots off and root each piece again.
There are LOTS of pieces to still re-root if anyone is interested in adopting her.
I have decided that she takes up waaaay too much of the light in the livingroom and found a little Curtisii to hang where she was.
I have TONS of cuttings rooting for myself but I just can't throw these out.
I THINK that these would qualify for the $4.05 Priority rate. I KNOW $5.00 would cover it.
I have a PayPal account so if someone wanted to adopt these for $5.25 (PayPal fee & shipping fee) it would be a great project for the winter.
Like I said, I kept 1/2 of these and they are already plumping up and showing signs of re-rooting.
These will arrive with roots but I suggest cutting the bottom inch off and starting them over with fresh roots.
I jsut can't bare the thought of trashing Miss Bella.
The first one to reply will get everything that's in the pot.
I would appreciate the PayPal transfer today so that I can mail these tomorrow morning when I ship out all my other boxes.
Thank you for your loving attention to this matter.
