Ammaron's Curly White and a Few Others

Geneva, FL(Zone 9b)

ACW just started blooming--I have waitied for two years. The flowers are 4 inches. This one just opened as is just starting to get the curl to its petals. The scent is sweet vanilla-frangipani to my nose.

Here's an Aussie known by two names--Pink Kink, and, Rose-N-Lilac. The scent is very floral-spicy.

This is my first Hot Embers bloom. Pity the mother tree was destroyed in Hurricane Wilma making this one rather a scarce variety for now. Scent is sweet coconut and spice.

Here's Hurricane winding down for the year. This has been a wonderful and very reliable, constant bloomer for me this year. The growth between blooms tends to be very short and the plant is proving to be a rather compact grower in her 25 gallon pot.

The pics are awesome, Brad! Wow! Thanks for posting them! All your inflo's are so full and gorgeous. That ACW just kills me; it is so pretty. And I love the orange centers of Rose-N-Lilac and Hot Embers. Fantastic!

This is one called Novelty. it is ashame that is seems all but ignored these days. The blooms have a VERY intense fragrance of cinnamon candies. I love the dense inflos and red edges to the yellow blossoms. The new buds look like red and yellow striped candy canes.

I don't have a confirm date yet bud because they are traveling doing food shows..
They are very popular and every food show they go to they have a massive line waiting for them even before they open their booth..
I been all over this world and they are the best cooks hands down when it comes to thai food..
Even when you hate thai food you will love their food...
Their cooking style is based on taste and that is the only way to cook things IMHO..
Right now they are in North Carlonia doing a show and from there they go to texas where her sister lives..
She called me today and wanted to make sure i was going with them to thailand..
I am going with my neighbor also he is the guy in my post that went to costa rica and climb that massive plumie tree..

Clare it would be nice to see Doc for sure before i go i will try to set that up but given doc busy schedule don't know if that is possible..
Here are my thai friends Kit aka Nook,Husband Todd and son Peter who calls me uncle :)
I took pics with my phone cam ;=/
