Beautiful plants Jan. Wonderful !! : ) Nancy
I got an E. 'Chocolate Soldier' from my secret easter bunny (Debsroots), and there stolon babies on it... Violet, I'm already hoping we might do a spring trade; should I put it on your wish list, or were you just wishing for 'South Shore Rose'? Sequee, you're close enough that I can probably tuck one into a BE and send it to you to root... I think Episcias are a little more cold tolerant, and I don't think it'll freeze if I double up the bubble wrap in the envelope. Dmail me to LMK.
:-)
Jill Episcias are not cold tolerant at all. I think even violet barn stops shipping them in Sept. I have shipped them in cold weather in Styrofoam cups and the cups wrapped in thick insulation and this was then in a box with insulation and heat pack.
Whoops, thanks for the catch, Allison!
Sorry, no Episcia babies until spring then.
Thank everone.I really enjoy these plants!
