Can these be cut back? When I furst got this (a few years ago) I kept it pinched back. I was told this would keep it bushy. I have kinda ignored it and now it has gotten really leggy. I repotted but I think the soil is too heavy (had yard dirt mixed in). #1 Can I cut it back. #2 should I repot now or wait until spring? I don't have a decent pic of it.
Thanks,
Dawn

Dawn,
Think you should repotted it; never use yard dirt to pot houseplants, too many diseases, bugs, and G... knows whatelse! I would not cut it back now. One change is enough for now(repotting). Wait for spring to cut it back, should not be doing that much growing now, anyway.
Just my thoughts, Good luck.

Thanks Larry, that is whatt I'll do then. I knew I shouldn't use yard dirt whne I was potting. It was going in a really big pot and I didn't have enough potting soil so I thought I mix some in. Well I know now that doesn't work.
Dawn
You are welcome!
