There is a woman I know in Toledo who lives in Monarch something sub-division. Judy has milkweed growing in clumps in her yard. Judy keeps pulling it up and throwing it away-if you'd like some, she'd be happy for you to come get it. She doesn't spray.

Milkweed in Toledo
Aawwww, will she leave even a small clump for the Monarchs?
I wish I was there, I desparately need more milkweed and can't find it anywhere.
I would think that if you live in "Monarch something-subdivision" that you would be required to grow Milkweed. :- )
The problem is she has daylilies which do not attract monarchs. Nothing is eating the huge, tough stalked Milkweeds that are popping up in all kinds of places in her yard. At this stage in her life she is not interested in planting a whole new garden of nectar flowers to attract b-flies. She is happy to let someone else have them- especially if they will relieve her of the problem.
I did a search after writing (carving) her zip code in a piece of paper with an inkless pen. I never did actually figure out the last 2 digits of the zip she gave me. I did learn that there is a Monarch family up there and that's probably where the name came from.
