It's amazing what I find on my walks on bulk trash pick up day.
These seems to be a giant Philodendron of some sort. Im trying to figure out what to do with them. One is pretty much just a root ball with a couple of shoots, the larger leaves are freshly broken off. The other seems to be in pretty good shape maybe with some root rot.

They'll have to go in a pot so I may have to chop the root trunk to fit it .

Any Ideas on a name?
and what's the name of the stuff you soak the roots in to remove root rot?

And the smaller one with just a couple of shoots and a deformed leaf emerging.

Right off hand I would think it is either Gigantea or Wilsonii Philodendrons. A more mature leaf and I could ID it better. Gigantea will have a very round heart shaped leaf. Wilsonii will have a bit longer leaf with ruffeling around the edges. Both get very huge. I believe Gigantea will also produce a hairy fiber around the top growth point but this may only be seen on larger plants.

Aha
Both had a kind of coconut coir that i removed as it seemed to be rotting. So I guess they are Gigantea. Most of the root system is black does this mean it is rotting or is that the normal color , do you know. Should I trim back the root system , any ideas for potting.
Sorry Ive never had ones this big to deal with . Ill try to get a closer look at the big leaf to cionfirm. As usuall
thanks for the help.
BTW not fair putting all those P.Blue up , your definately an enabler when it comes to Aroid addiction LOL.
