dwarf cannas for trade

Augusta, GA

Hi there, I have a bumper crop of dwarf yellow cannas. They have pink freckles and are about 30" tall. I would love to trade for ees, gingers, hostas and you can tempt me with almost anything for I am a died in the wool (green of course) plantaholic.

I would like to trade with you for the yellow ones. I have lots of different cannas to trade also two kinds of ginger. the tall variety one is fragrant and the other one is pine cone. I have one type is dwarf and has i think a blue or purple small flowr about the size of a morning glory. other plants we could trade if you have some. We could exchange a flat rate box of bulbs and whatever. I have amaryllis. Fran

Sure Fran. I am separating perennials and bulbs now. I have misc daylilies, shasta daisies, siberian blue dianthus, black barbados dianthus, phlox subulata, black eyed susan, burgandy blanket flower, verbena sissinghurst (bright pink), stokesia--honeysong I think), silver lace vine, mixed glads, mixed iris, black sweet potato & coleus(rooting in water now), plus others but I need to run
get back to you soon,

ooooh, Deb... sorry I missed this earlier, but especially with all the lovelies you've listed above I'm hoping you'll consider a spring trade for a box of African Violets? I've got a bunch of different named varieties under propagation and can also "grow to order" over the winter. My selection of plantlets is more limited now, and with these cold snaps I think shipping became risky early this year (for AVs, I mean... your hardy perennials & cannas would ship fine... don't want anyone to get the wrong idea).

I should have a variety of perennial divisions and new starts to share this spring also, in case the AVs don't interest you.

Just to tempt you a little, here's 'Biscayne Trail', a standard trailer with purple blooms and variegated "girl" foliage. I've got large standards, small miniatures, trailers, foliage with white or pink or mosaic variegation, double blooms, wasp blooms, you name it. :-)

PS, have a couple more varieties of basil to dechaff and labels to make, but I'm making progress on the seeds for our swap! :-)
