My heirloom bulb - found

These two bulbs were seen thriving on the opposite side of the yard where lots of them grew in rows. They were all removed > 20 years back but now I wanted it as it had a lovely cup like flower, white, almost like spider flower lily. The leaves are no more than 10 inches long. I have not seen it flowering for a long time as I have forgotten exactly its shape. I think it had 5 corners. It was such a sight long before after the rains as all of them were up together within 5 days of the first rain of that season. Now I have found these out as I can distinguish it by the leaves and want to protect them. I have a doubt. Does it stop flowering after some years and die away?
