Hi again Bob...I love it here in Arkansas...I just moved here 5 months ago from Florida. We bought 40 acres up on top of pinnacle mountain. I grew up in a town in Florida called DeLand, I dont know if you are familiar with that town..its about 18 miles west of Daytona Beach. I really miss Florida but I do love the mountains here!
It is a pleasure to meet you and your kitty! Here's a pic of my silly dog named Bullie
How would the plumeria's do in Arkansas? They sure are pretty! Are they an outside plant or inside?
Thanks Bob,
Linda

Hi Linda..how nice to meet you as well...love the pic of your Bullie...very cute indeed...Arkansas is a nice place...some of the winter can be cold...i certainly know Deland well....i'm about 60 miles s.e. of there....Plumeria in the hot summer can be outside..usually in pots in your area or greenhouse....they usually go dormant in winter and come to life in spring and the warmer weather..most folks outside of warm places like florida..bring them in....in the fall and winter..Use tohave a friend in Hope Arkansas..that had good success with them..but i believe he had a greenhouse...they ARE a tropical plant....but well worth the effort...most folks treat them like cacti..as far as their needs etc...give the dog a hug for me...Bob

Hey Bob, glad to hear from you! You've been missed :))

Frederick, MD(Zone 6b)

Bob, I'm so glad to see you posting and sharing pics with us again! We've missed you!

Your new kitty looks sweet -- and mischievious! Definitely a good match for you.

I need to find out more about this Plumeria Project. I've got lights and heat mats, so I'd be equipped to try your seed starting method, but I'm not sure I qualify since I'm neither a senior nor a shut-in (admittedly the migraine nonsense has been limiting what I can do, but I'm not unable to drive *every* day, LOL). Or is the idea to grow plumerias and then share them with seniors?

How long do they take from seed to flowering? Should I just take all of my questions over to the plumeria forum and start reading? Hahahaha, yes, I suppose I should!

In any event, it's good to have you back!

Denver, CO

Famous Bob!

I'm glad you've found a loving home with the cat.
Eh?

Good to see you 'round.
That Baldy cypress is still trucking along, and the only bald cypress in my town. Not half as nice as the ones down south, but alive to be said.
