Anyone with Narcissus "White Medal" experience?

Marble Hill, NY(Zone 6a)

Like an idiot I ordered white medal and golden ducat daffodils without first checking the plant files so I didn't know that golden ducat would be a disaster in my windy garden (http://davesgarden.com/pf/go/55530/index.html). So my strategy is to force the ducats indoors and treat them as annuals.

But I'm wondering about the white medals since they are also double daffodils and I can't seem to find them in plant files. Any comments/experiences would be appreciated.

I am interested in knowing about 'White Medal', too. I wonder where you purchased it since it is so rare it's not listed in ADS 'daffseek'....mmm...? http://daffseek.org/

I grew 'golden ducat' in the garden and I wish you good luck with the forcing idea. I do not know if they are easy to force, or not....In any case, you might want to put them in a deep pot to balance them.

Oh, I see the listing now in Scheepers and B & B. Thank you.

Looks interesting...they mention strong stems and late bloomer "medal" winner, so it could be a real find!

I wonder if I have it in my garden--I purchased the VanEngelen white 'mixture' last year and some of them were lovely. I'll have to keep an eye out next spring for it.
