About how long from seed to flower? Two, three years?

Lincoln, United Kingdom(Zone 8a)

Some can flower in their second year, most in the third. One early germinated G dalenii flowered in it's second year. That's quite quick really!

West Pottsgrove, PA(Zone 6b)

They remind me of elm seeds

Oh no, does this mean I will have lots of elms????

They differ quite a lot from specie to specie, have you seen the other one, G. equitans?

More to list yet, but I'm waiting for the book so I can put them in PF with enough info.
