Bulbs that bloom in summer.

Lancaster, PA(Zone 6b)

I hate to ask another question ... but, I'm really new at this!

I want to plant some bulbs that will bloom in the summer months (zone 6B). Any suggestions? I have a shady area only. Which gets only about an hour of sun as it's setting in the summer months.

Thanks.

I'm pretty new at gardening, too, sighbrrgal, but learning everyday from the kind folks at DG. Caladiums are my favorites for shady areas, and there is no limit to the color choices! Can't plant them til it gets warmer, though. Tuberous begonias are another that do well in shade and are pretty carefree, but I didn't get around to planting any this year. I will next year, however. I think some Callas, particularly white ones do well in partial shade, but I have not had much luck with Callas at all.
