Cuttings for SASE

Hagerstown, MD(Zone 6b)

****************CLOSED FOR NOW***************************

I have some cuttings still left that need a new home. I can probably do a few boxes. I'm not completely sure what all I have left but can list a few. Boxes have been running $4.05 -$5.15 depending on location. I am trying to get these out of here ASAP. I NEED my kitchen table back and it is loaded with cups of cuttings.

A few I am sure I have at the moment.

Butterfly
Super Nova
Sunray
Frosty Pink
Pink Beauty
Golfito
Dr Seusse

Dott you are the greatest.

Hagerstown, MD(Zone 6b)

Geo- Not the greatest, just very exhausted, LOL. Thank you for the compliment.

I will try to get back to everyone ASAP. DH just sent me out of the kitchen when I said I was going to get more boxes done. I been doing boxes since friday on and off. My kitchen table is covered in cuttings I did all morning. I have buckets sitting around with whole trunks I have whacked off. I just couldn't leave them outside to die in the fridgid cold this weekend when they could go to new homes. I promised some people I would get theirs out today but I just couldn't do them all. I will be back at it first thing in the morning.

Dott,
You just sit back and relax a bit! If need be, just mark me off your list for this year - we can always swap cuttings or do postage in the spring. I think it's the time of year to hurry and get everything stowed away so we can slow down and can get revved up later.

Ok I caught my breath and was back at it first thing this morning. I have been busy emailing everyone that i know I can supply boxes to. I am afraid I am out of some of the ones listed but do have others and need to check what still needs cutting back but it's raining outside today.

The only 2 I haven't fotten back to yet is Motez and Victoria at this time but I should be able to get you butterfly and a couple others as well. I am just waiting to confirm with the earlier post.

Thank you all for being so patient. I am glad to see my kitchen table and the buckets sitting around with cuttings almost empty.

I definitely don't want to add to any madness....but if you happen to have any leftovers i'd love to try a couple cuttings. Thanks! Kim

Update, I have contacted the last person for cuttings just a minute ago. I tried to be fair and went acording to times of post and dmails. I'm sorry I couldn't get to everyone.

BUT, I am keeping those dmails I have for cutting that haven't been filled as well as a list of the rest whom have asked. IF I have more available I will work my way down the list and contact them to see if they are still interested. Thanks again for all who hav participated. 47 boxes later I am taking a rest.

47 !!!!! You deserve a rest :-)

Pocahontas, TN(Zone 7b)

Dott,

You are an ANGEL for doing this. Only if a person has shipped cuttings do they know how much trouble it is and how time consuming.

I didn't request cuttings, but I wanted to say Thank You, for doing this for these fine people. You deserve a great deal of respect!!

How true...I shipped cuttings form other plants to fifteen people and it is a true chore...you are a trouper with a capital T! Can't imagine doing 47....wow! Isn't it wonderful though to share!
Have a relaxing day, you deserve it!

-----------------UPDATE------------------

I have contacted everyone now that was on my list for wanting cuttings. I had just enough to do down to the last person. My supply is tapped for this year.

I want to thank everyone who has participated. This is only my second year doing this and I was so glad I had so many more varities to share. I think there was more than 15 varities compared to the 4 I had last year. I just didn't have time to list all of them above.

Thanks Judy and Janet. It was exhausting but lots of fun to get to talk to new people. Everyone has been so sweet. Dh thinks I am nuts.

Thanks to everyone.

I didn't request any either but from being a newbie once, and seeing all the beauty that these flowers put out, I want to say thanks also. Just great to have on line friends that care about their fellow gardeners.

Jim
