Krispi, I stopped counting at three dozen! You sure had some good luck germinating your seeds. Just think, in a couple of years you will need a whole shelf for them. I am curious about your technique - it looks like the seedlings are coming up through the holes from underneath. How do you do that?

That is SO cool!!!

It is a magic secret, I took a tooth pick after I had sprayed the papertowel, and stuck holes in it, then I took each little eppi pup, and stuck them in the holes. I put them in a gallon ziplock bag, and blew it up, with a straw, and walla, instant greenhouse! I put them on the porch, and forgot that the sun comes up on that side, and nearly forgot them. By the time I remembered them, they were so wet, they were about to get fuzzy, so I grabbed the container and got them out, and let them dry out, and am only putting them back in the ziploc at night. When the papertowel gets dry, they stick to it, so I go out with the tooth pick, and lift them up off the paper. They are so cute, I sure do not want to lose them. When I can put them in containers, I will surely send you girls some. Thanks, Sylvia

Thanks for sharing your magic secret with the rest of us! I am going to try it with some perennial seeds this fall.

Hope to see more pictures of your plants as they grow. Do you know what color flowers the parent plant had?

I am not sure, maybe white. Hetty, jump in here, girl, what color is your curley eppi?

Very cool Krispi! I hope you have great success with growing them and getting them to bloom in a few years. What fun, to be able to tell people, "yes, I grew those beautiful blooming plants from seed!" :)

Yeah, that will be neat. I can hardly wait for them to grow up enough to send you all some! I am trying to sprout some cactus seeds, I got in AZ. back in Feb. some have sprouted, but most have not. I am one of those people who, if the seed falls down on the ground and sprouts, with out any help, then that should be all I need to do! LOL, GROW!!! But I also need to help them a little. Catch ya later, Sylvia
