Very nice Dianne. How long have you been growing some of those plants to get them to that size? I've got a small handfull of them that might be that big but for the most part mine are still just babies!!!

Thanks Guys!!When the hurricane hit last year I lost a total of 250 plants,I was left with 50 mostly carnosa's and sliver pinks and red button and I can't forget Australis and kerrii's,I ordered two deykei right after the hurricane along with others before I even moved home,So that plant Tami is talking about is a little over a year old..I was growing under 50 persent shade but now it will be 80 percent,I might be giving up blooms going with heavy shade cloth,But to answer your question I have been growing them for about 15 years... I don't want no stail air around my plants Tami LOL my old shadehouse was 12by42,I had sum monsters..Hopefully I can get them to grow for me in a greenhouse and start growing them big again...

Thanks! Hubby is so proud!

I wish you were closer to Baton Rouge Dianne. I went to school in Lafayette and lived in New Iberia for about 6 months. Lovely country.

Dianne, What a wonderful greenhouse you have ! Your plants are incredible, you sure know how to grow hoyas! I can't believe the size of the deykei for only being a year old. Looks like the hoyas enjoy the LA climate. Glad to see you are back in business and your hoyas are thriving!

You guys are just the best!!!!! I just love it and hope I don't lose that many getting use to it, Best part about a shadehouse was if I would hear rain I would sleep in late!! I am really enjoying it..

Thanks!!

Great looking greenhouse Dianne! I am soooo envious. I keep crowding more and more in here every winter. UGH.

Terrific looking greenhouse there! Making me envious as I look out at my haphazard one out in the yard..... I can only heat it good enough for cacti and succulents. I dream of the day I can have one for tropical plants.
